Eastern Region/Price Quality Improvement Committee
The Eastern Region/Price Quality Improvement Committee will hold its next meeting on November 8, 2007.
On October 11, 2007, an immersion experience was offered to committee members and the public. Richard Shaw, a publisher from the "Sun Advocate", attended the event. The Eastern Region/Price Quality Improvement Committee has made written recommendations, as follows:
--October 30, 2007, letter about a respite care system for foster parents. Child and Family Services responded and has given the approval for a regional pilot project for approximately 12 months in the Eastern Region.
--October 30, 2007, letter regarding employee retention. Child and Family Services has been given until January 5, 2008 to provide their written response to these recommendations. Child and Family Services sent a response letter on February 3, 2008 addressing these recommendations.
