State Quality Improvement Committee

The State Quality Improvement Committee meets monthly on the fourth Monday of each month.

                      At the June 23, 2008 meeting, the Report on Placement Stability and Delinquency was presented to the State Quality Improvement Committee by Child and Family Services. This report will be conveyed to all Regional Quality Improvement Committees for consideration as each region works on placement stability issues as part of the priority focus areas of Child and Family Services. Placement stability is one of the Dashboard items chosen by the Quality Improvement Committees.

                       

                      On April 24, 2008, the State Quality Improvement Committee submitted a recommendation letter about the Department of Human Services, Office of Child Protection Ombudsman. The response letter from the Office of Child Protection Ombudsman was sent on May 21, 2008.

                       

                      On January 3, 2008, the State Quality Improvement Committee submitted a recommendation letter containing several recommendations around In-Home Services and substance abuse issues to the Child and Family Services Administrative Team for consideration. The response letter from Child and Family Services was sent to the State Quality Improvement Committee on February 3, 2008.

                      The State Quality Improvement Committee made recommendations regarding the Child and Family Services Intake system.
